11/04/2009 - Open House a Success

Open House Ribbon Cutting

Thanks to everyone that came out to our Open House on Tuesday, October 27th to celebrate the Grand Opening of our new office at 4100 Edison Lakes Parkway.  We’ve doubled our office space by moving into the 3rd floor of the Mutual Bank building at the corner of Edison Lakes and Day Roads. 

Mayor Rae and Ambassadors from both the St. Joseph and Elkhart County Chambers of Commerce joined us for a ribbon cutting ceremony.  Mayor Rae and Phil Damico the St. Joseph County Chamber Director of Business Growth honored Pinnacle with their kind words of congratulations and encouragement.

After a delicious breakfast and specialty coffees and teas provided by the American Espresso Catering Company, many of our Open House attendees stayed to tour the office and sit in on several Technology Presentations to learn about 7 ways to save money on Technology in 77 minutes.  Technology presentations included some of the cool new features of Windows 7, CRM (Save time and money by getting a clear view of your customers) , SharePoint (moving beyond multiple documents, better process management) , Document Management (one of the easiest and least expensive ways to bring order to chaos), Dynamics GP,  and Social Networking for your organization through Facebook and Twitter.

10/19/2009 - Pinnacle to Host an Open House

To celebrate the grand opening of their new larger office space, Pinnacle will host an Open House on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. The event will take place from 7:00 – 9:00 am with a ribbon cutting at 8:00am. Breakfast will be served and staff members will be available to answer questions. The new address is 4100 Edison Lakes Parkway, Suite 320, Mishawaka, IN 46545. (Third floor of the Mutual Bank building on the corner of Edison Lakes Pkwy and Day Roads)

10/8/2009 - Pinnacle achieves Microsoft Virtualization Solutions Compentency

Pinnacle, a local leader in customized technology solutions, announced it has achieved its seventh Microsoft Competency in Virtualization Solutions. As a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, Pinnacle has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet their customer’s needs.

Achieving a Microsoft Competency requires a combination of individual certifications, development of tested, certified software based on Microsoft technologies, and customer references. The Virtualization competency means that Pinnacle has the skills to build infrastructures based on solutions like Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V technology, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008, and Microsoft virtual desktop infrastructure.

Pinnacle is hosting a Wave 7 technology seminar on September 18, 2009 from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at 1710 Edison Road, South Bend. The seminar is open to business owners, managers, and IT professionals. 6/5/2009 - Announcing Public Availability of Office 2007 Service Pack 2

As part of its efforts to continually improve its products and make them more useful for customers, Microsoft periodically releases update packages known as “service packs.” Service packs deliver product updates and selected enhancements, without the complete overhaul of releasing a new version

Service Pack 2 (SP2) for the 2007 Microsoft Office system is now available. The service pack includes major performance enhancements for Office applications, most notably Microsoft Office Outlook, as well as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

  • Is this an Automatic Update? – Not yet. For the first 90 days, service packs are made available as a manual download. After 90 days, Service Packs are offered through the Automatic Update channel as a critical update.

12/15/2008 - Announcing Pinnacle’s Help Desk Launch

Pinnacle has opened up our online Help Desk for all clients. The Help Desk has been designed to aid in managing Computer support requests for not only our South Bend and Elkhart clients, but all of our Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan clients as well. When you need assistance from the Consultants at Pinnacle concerning hardware or software problems, questions or enhancement requests, you can log into the Pinnacle Customer Support Portal and enter a new case, or track cases that have been previously created.

When new cases are entered through the Help Desk, they are being created in Pinnacle’s internal Microsoft Dynamics CRM system. Using Dynamics CRM allows Pinnacle to manage cases using a centralized system that is workflow capable. Workflows are leveraged at various stages in the case lifecycle to help manage notifications, tasks, and activities that must be completed to successfully resolve a case. You can also log in and monitor the status of each case that has been entered through the Help Desk.
